commonly asked questions.

Does the tiki boat have a restroom?

Yes, we have a restroom onboard for your comfort. (Only available at the Boathouse location)

 

Do you provide lifejackets?

Yes, we supply one PFD for every passenger, including children. Our tiki boat follows all required and recommended United State Coast Guard (USCG) guidelines.

 

Can we bring more than 6 people?

No, the USCG regulation for our tiki boat is 6 passengers, includes children.

Can we bring children?

Yes, children are welcome to join in the tiki fun. Children must weigh 40 pounds or more and all minors 18 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Please make a note on the booking form if you plan to bring a child to ensure we have the appropriate life jackets onboard.

 

Who is my captain?

The Paradise Tiki captains are local USCG licensed captains that are experienced with the Ft. Myers and Sanibel waterways. Your safety is their first priority.

 

Should I tip my captain?

It is customary to tip the captain 15-25% of the trip price. Our captains are experienced professionals, and they work hard to ensure a safe and amazing experience.

 

How long is the tour?

Our regular day and sunset cruises are 90 minutes. Private charters are available for 4-6 hours. To charter more than one boat for a larger group, please call 877-239-8454.

 

Can I play my own music?

Yes, the tiki boat is Bluetooth enabled. Please be courteous. Music that is disruptive or offensive to your fellow passengers will not be allowed.

 

Do you provide food and drinks?

The cruise is BYOB and we provide coolers, ice and cups. For your convenience, the Boathouse Tiki Bar & Grill in Fort Myers offers beverages and food for purchase. Please refer to your confirmation email for additional information as offerings vary by location.

 

Does the tiki boat operate in the rain?

Yes, the tiki boat has a roof so you can enjoy a beautiful cruise in the rain. However, the captains follow USCG rules and may cancel due to conditions such as heavy rain, high winds or thunder storms. Weather related cancellations initiated by the captain are always refunded 100%.

 

What is your refund policy?

48 hours before departure, 100% refund.

12-48 hours before departure, 50% refund or 100% when rebooking another date.

Less than 12 hours before departure, late arrivals and no shows, no refund.

We issue a 100% refund if the captain cancels the cruise due to weather or other safety reasons.
